Olaszrizling 2017

OR17 is a volcanic dry white wine, following the intense colour and complex palette of our white wines grown on Szent Gyorgy-hegy. Organically grown, hand selected and aged in barrique barrels, OR17 is a good ambassador for artisan wine making and of the Szent Gyorgy-hegy.

Pinot Gris 2017

PG17 is an intense dry white wine with a good potential to age well. The method of making this particular wine involved a reduction of grapes on the vines to achieve an intense and complex palette. Organically grown, hand selected and aged in barrique barrels.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

A light dry red wine, our CS17 carries mild notes of camomile and has a clear, crisp palette.
Aged 6 months in barrique barrels, unfiltered.

Pinot Noir 2016

Our PN16 is medium bodied dry red wine. This vintage gives recognisable notes of liquorice root, and it displays the minerality of the terroir characteristic to the volcanic wines of Szent Gyorgy-hegy. PN16 is one of our winery’s favoured red wines.

Olaszrizling 2016

OR16 is a spicy dry Olasz Riesling rich with the mineral flavours
of the Szent György-hegy. The wine is aged in barrique barrels complimenting its soft tannins. OR16 is a well balanced white wine with a pleasent nose, palette and salty finish characteristic to volcanic wines. This wine carries the finest trademarks of its variety and locality.

Pinot Gris 2016

Our PG16 is a full bodied dry white wine with considerable notes of volcanic minerals and salinity attributed to the wines of the Szent György-hegy. As with all our wines, the grapes were carefully selected and hand picked from our vineyard on the South East facing slopes of the hill. The wine was aged in barrique barrels for 3 months. The PG16 has a rich palette with a long finish.

Pinot Noir 2015

PN15 is made from hand picked grapes organically grown on the south facing slopes of the Szent György-hegy. Aged in small 225 litre barrique barrels for 16 months then bottled non-filtered and allowed to rest for a minimum of 3 months. The PN15 is full bodied and mildly spicy displaying the “peacock’s tail” of flavours – very characteristic to the variety. Well balanced acidity and a medium intensity of tannins affords a long finish. The colour is particularly deep for a Pinot Noir. The PN15 has the potential to become one of our vintage wines we can be proud of. Alcohol content 14.5%; Bottled 500 pcs.

Bazalt 2015

BZ15 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Frank and Merlot grapes with the addition of Zweigelt. The must of the different grapes is fermented in open vats, whereafter it is blended and aged in 225 litre barrique barrels for 18 months. The wine is non-filtered and allowed to rest for a minimum of 3 months after bottling. The BZ15 has a truly great nose – a basket of freshly picked red and black fruit. The faultless acids and soft tannins carry a long finish. It is a wine with a complex palette promising to mature over time. We count the BZ15 as our fine vintage wine. Alcohol content 12.75%; Bottled 373 pcs.
